Singing with the Grove: lifts my spirits, sharpens my mind, brings me friends and takes me to stunning faraway places!

I’ve been a member of the Grove Singer’s for 4 years. I really enjoy the wide range of music we perform in a variety of venues around London, in country villages and in our trips abroad. The choir are a friendly welcoming group.

I already sing with a large choral society and what I like about Grove Singers is the chance to sing with a smaller group without having to commit to another weekly rehearsal. And it’s fun to sing in lots of different places, especially on our tours.

I enjoy the friendliness of the choir and camaraderie of the Bass section. I particularly like the range of music chosen for our next concert, the London venue and singing with an orchestra. I really appreciate the conductors hard work and the standards that he sets. I also like the cakes at half time.
